Breaking: FOUR PAWS provides relief in the wake of Hurricane Florence

Update10/1/2018: Our team has been on the ground for 15 days in the Carolinas assisting with hurricane relief efforts. We delivered more than 11,000 pounds of dog and cat food, drove countless hours to transport supplies, worked with shelters and communities affected by the hurricane and were able to help over 1,120 animals in need.

Update 9/25/2018:  As the flood waters rise in North Carolina FOUR PAWS Disaster Relief Unit along with our US staff is on the ground assisting in more rescue efforts, transporting donations and partnering with local groups and shelters to meet the growing needs as more strays and newly homeless animals come into their care.  Our Team has dropped off donations in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to Grand Strand Humane Society and helped with feeding and general care of the animals currently in their shelter.

Though the storm has passed, animals are still suffering. FOUR PAWS has received countless requests for relief in the wake of Hurricane Florence as flooding continues to destroy the area, leaving thousands of surviving animals at high risk. Our US staff and a team of international disaster experts head to hurricane-ravaged North and South Carolina in an all-hands-on-deck disaster relief mission. We’re coordinating with multiple local groups to asses where help and support is needed the most.

Please, donate and be a part of this important mission, providing aid to animals fighting for their lives after the hurricane made landfall, causing widespread and dangerous flooding.
